SMALL ITALIAN CARVED GILTWOOD MIRROR
A charming and decorative small Florentine carved gilt wood mirror. The mirror is typical of the type with bold deep carving of foliate type scrolls. The gilding is original and has a nice soft tone to it and a great slightly worn look. The frame has a small amount of minor repair and overall is in excellent condition. The mirror was most likely originally made as a frame for a painting and could easily be converted back to that purpose or as a photo frame. C.1900
